The Member representing Obudu, Bekwarra and Obanliku Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Peter Akpanke, has paid a condolence visit to the family of his late political aide, Hon. Samuel Ejuaga, at Amana Village, Becheve, in Obanliku Local Government Area.
Hon. Akpanke visited Mrs. Jacinta Ejuaga and members of the family following the death of her husband, Hon. Samuel Ejuaga, a respected politician, former Leader of the Obanliku Legislative Council and, until his death, Special Adviser to the federal lawmaker on Political Matters.
During the visit, Hon. Akpanke described the deceased as a father, wise counsellor and sincere political leader whose contributions to the political development of Obanliku would be remembered.
He expressed his condolences to the bereaved family and urged them to remain strong in the face of the painful loss. He prayed that Almighty God grant the soul of Hon. Ejuaga eternal rest and give the family the fortitude to bear his passing.
As part of the visit to the area, the federal lawmaker also paid a brief visit to one of his supporters, Hon. David Igahali, who was recently involved in an accident.
Hon. Akpanke encouraged him to remain strong and focused on his recovery, assuring him of his prayers and support during the difficult period.
The lawmaker’s visit provided an opportunity to personally check on his supporter and offer words of encouragement following the accident.
On his return from Becheve, Hon. Akpanke made a brief stop at the residence of Hon. Tony Ayam in Utanga.
Supporters and party faithful who gathered at the residence warmly received the federal lawmaker and reaffirmed their support for him.
The reception further provided an opportunity for the lawmaker to interact with party members and supporters in the community.
Hon. Akpanke was accompanied on the visits by the Leader of the Obanliku Legislative Council, Hon. Elam Sunday, APC Chapter Chairman of Bekwarra, Hon. Tom Odama, Mr. Sunny Undebe of De Rock Media, Becheve Ward Coordinator, Mr. Emmanuel Ishiekwen, Mr. Tony Akpere and other supporters and party stakeholders.
