The Deputy Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly and Member representing Obudu State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Sylvester Agabi Jr., has joined Nigerians across the nation in commemorating the country’s 65th Independence Anniversary.
Hon Agabi Jr. in his goodwill message, congratulated citizens for their resilience and commitment to unity despite the challenges confronting the nation. He stressed that Nigeria’s diversity remains its greatest strength and urged everyone to work together in building a peaceful, prosperous, and progressive country.
“Independence Day is not only a time for celebration but also for reflection. Let us continue to uphold the values of unity, justice, and peace as we move towards a brighter future,” he stated.
The Deputy Speaker also extended his wishes for a fruitful new month, calling on Nigerians, particularly the Obudu people to remain hopeful and committed to national growth.
