Hon. Akpanke made the donation while attending Mass at the parish, where he interacted with church members and residents of the community. The gesture is intended to support the parish and the wider community in addressing the urgent challenge posed by a collapsed bridge along the Busi-Basang Road, a critical route for the transportation of people, goods, and services.
The bridge collapse has reportedly caused considerable hardship for commuters and residents, particularly those who rely on the road for access to neighbouring communities and economic activities.
