The Deputy Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Hon. Sylvester Agabi, has paid a condolence visit to the former Governor of Cross River State, Senator Prof. Ben Ayade, following the passing of his elder brother, Late Ukandi Placidus UGAH Ogar, who died at the age of 76.
Hon. Agabi visited the Ayade family to commiserate with the former Governor and his family over the loss, expressing his heartfelt condolences and solidarity with them during the period of mourning.
The Deputy Speaker described the death of Late Ukandi Placidus UGAH Ogar as a painful loss to the Ayade family and those who knew him, noting that the occasion called for compassion, prayers and support for the bereaved family.
As part of his gesture of solidarity, Hon. Agabi presented a live cow to the Ayade family, demonstrating his personal support and concern at a difficult moment for the family.
While conveying his condolences, the Deputy Speaker prayed that Almighty God grant the deceased eternal rest and give Senator Prof. Ben Ayade and the entire Ayade family the strength, comfort and fortitude to bear the loss.
He also encouraged the family to find comfort in the memories and legacy of their departed brother, while assuring them of his continued prayers and support.

Late Ukandi Placidus UGAH Ogar, who passed away at the age of 76, is survived by family members who have continued to receive condolences from political leaders, government officials, traditional rulers, friends and well-wishers across Cross River State and beyond.
