The Cross River State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has joined family, friends, colleagues and associates in celebrating Mrs. Esther Ekpenyong Akiba on the occasion of her birthday anniversary.
In a goodwill message signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Hon. Emmanuel Edem Inyang, JP, the State Chairman, Rt. Hon. Christopher Sunny Etta, and members of the State Executive Committee described the occasion as an opportunity to celebrate Akiba’s contributions to academia, entrepreneurship and community development.
Mrs. Esther Akiba is an academic, philosopher, entrepreneur and event professional. She serves as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy and Leadership Studies at the University of Calabar, where she contributes to academic discourse, particularly in contemporary philosophy of science and technology.
Her research interest includes the impact of modern science on warfare, reflecting her engagement with questions surrounding science, technology and contemporary society.
Beyond the university environment, Akiba is the Chief Executive Officer of Jenellas Events Ltd, an event planning and decoration company involved in weddings, corporate events, birthdays, traditional ceremonies, venue decoration, styling and event management.
The APC noted that her involvement in education, women’s empowerment, entrepreneurship, philosophy and community development reflects a broad commitment to human and societal advancement.
The party further congratulated her on the milestone, praying for good health, long life, wisdom, peace, prosperity and greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
