The Engr. Christian and Kate Awowoh Education Foundation has commenced applications for the third edition of its annual scholarship programme for indigent students of Obanliku Local Government Area studying in tertiary institutions.

According to the foundation, the scholarship is open to final-year students of Obanliku origin enrolled in degree-awarding institutions, with priority given to indigent students.
Eligible applicants include students of the University of Calabar, the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS), the Federal College of Education, Obudu, degree-awarding programmes in Colleges of Health Technology, as well as students of the Nigerian Law School, Medicine and Surgery, Geophysics, and Geology.
Applicants are required to submit a Certificate of Origin, Admission Letter, and a current semester school fees receipt or course registration form duly endorsed by their Head of Department.
Applications are to be submitted online via Awowohedufoundation@gmail.com, while the deadline for submission is July 31, 2026.
