The Chairman of the GFO Orim Foundation, Chief Hon. Martin Orim, accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Ubeloka Orim, and members of his entourage, attended the candlelight procession and final burial ceremony of late retired Superintendent of Police, Simon Amajama Ademade, father of Barr. Ademade, in Utugwang, Obudu Local Government Area of Cross River State.
Chief Orim joined family members, friends, associates, and well-wishers in celebrating the life and legacy of the late police officer, whose years of dedicated service and commitment to humanity were remembered during the funeral activities.
Speaking during the event, Chief Orim commiserated with the Ademade family over their loss and prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul. He encouraged the family to take solace in the impactful life their patriarch lived and the values he imparted to those around him.
Following the burial ceremony, Chief Orim proceeded to Ukordem community, where he paid a condolence visit to Hon. Phillip Ikpa and his family over the passing of their loved one.
During the visit, he expressed heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family, urging them to remain strong and united during the difficult period. He assured them of his support and prayers, while emphasizing the importance of faith and community solidarity in times of grief.
The visits reflected Chief Orim’s longstanding commitment to standing with families and communities during moments of both celebration and mourning, reinforcing his dedication to compassion, service, and human connection.
