Former Chief of Staff to the Cross River Government, Hon. Chief Martin Orim has extended warm congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Utsu Felix Abanbeshie Ukudare, Utsu Bette III, Paramount Ruler of Obudu, on his appointment as Chairman of the Cross River State Traditional Rulers Council.
In a congratulatory message on his official Facebook page, Chief Orim described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of the monarch’s exemplary leadership, wealth of experience, and unwavering commitment to peace, unity, and the preservation of the rich cultural heritage of the people.
According to him, the appointment reflects the immense confidence reposed in the revered traditional ruler’s capacity to provide purposeful leadership and further strengthen traditional institutions across the state.
Chief Orim expressed confidence that under the distinguished leadership of HRM Utsu Felix Ukudare, the Traditional Rulers Council would continue to promote harmony, foster unity among communities, and contribute significantly to the peace, stability, and development of Cross River State.
He wished the new Chairman a successful, impactful, and rewarding tenure, while praying for wisdom and good health as he assumes the important responsibility.
