The Chairman of the GFO Orim Foundation and Member of Council FCE (Tech) Bichi Kano, Chief Martin Orim, has extended warm felicitations to Muslims across Nigeria as they join the global Islamic community in celebrating this year’s Eid El-Kabir.
In a goodwill message released on Friday, Chief Orim congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the Hajj pilgrimage and urged them to reflect on the core values of the festival such as sacrifice, obedience, love, and compassion.
“Eid El-Kabir is not just a celebration, but a solemn reminder of the virtues of selflessness and faith. It calls on us all regardless of religion to embrace peace, extend kindness to one another, and remain united as a nation,” Chief Orim said.
The philanthropist, politician and community leader further highlighted the importance of religious harmony and national cohesion, emphasising that the spirit of the season offers an opportunity to renew hope and commitment toward building a more inclusive and prosperous Nigeria.
“As families gather to celebrate, let us also remember those in need and extend a helping hand wherever possible. This is the true essence of Eid,” he added.
He wished all Muslim faithful a joyful and peaceful Eid El-Kabir, praying for continued divine blessings and a united, prosperous Nigeria.
Eid Mubarak!
