The Member representing Obanliku, Obudu and Bekwarra Federal Constituency, Hon. Peter Akpanke, has joined family members, friends and dignitaries to pay his respects at the burial ceremony of Late Mama Rose Obla Orim.
Mama Rose Obla Orim was the mother-in-law of the Chief of Defence Intelligence, Lieutenant General E.A. Parker Undiandeye.
The solemn ceremony attracted prominent personalities, including the Cross River State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey, who represented the Governor, Senator Jarigbe Agom, Chief of Staff to the Cross River State Government, Hon. Emmanuel Ironbar, and other dignitaries.
Hon. Akpanke joined the bereaved family and sympathisers in honouring the memory of the deceased and extending his heartfelt condolences to the family.
He prayed for the peaceful repose of Late Mama Rose Obla Orim and for strength and comfort for all who mourn her.
