OBUDU: Engr. Michael Alfred Agiande, a native of Ukwel-Ugbudu, Urban Ward 2 in Obudu Local Government Area, has declared his support for the Member Representing Obudu, Bekwarra and Obanliku Federal Constituency, Hon. Peter Akpanke, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Engr. Agiande and his family hosted Hon. Akpanke to dinner at their residence in Obudu, where he expressed his solidarity with the lawmaker and presented campaign materials in support of his re-election bid.
Speaking during the presentation, Engr. Agiande said he and his family had been encouraged by Hon. Akpanke’s consistent concern for vulnerable members of society, particularly the less privileged, sick and elderly.
“Our dear MP, you are a good man who always puts others first. We have decided to stand with you because you have always been there for people who cannot repay you,” he said.
The gesture comes amid growing support for Hon. Akpanke as political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections gather momentum across the Obudu, Bekwarra and Obanliku Federal Constituency.
The Member of the House of Representatives was accompanied by his elder brother, Orphan Aniashie Akpanke, APC Bekwarra LGA Chapter Chairman, Comr. Thomas Odama, Mr. Sunny Undebe, Apostle John Paul Anakai and other supporters.
The family’s endorsement adds to the expressions of support for Hon. Akpanke from individuals and groups across the constituency.
