The Governor of Cross River State, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, has approved the appointment of Mr. Utsu John Atsu as the Managing Director of the Cross River State Tourism Bureau.
The appointment, according to a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary and Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Mr. Linus Obogo, reflects the administration’s commitment to strengthening the state’s tourism sector and advancing its cultural, ecological and hospitality endowments.
Mr. Atsu is expected to provide purposeful leadership to the Bureau and deepen its contribution to sustainable development, investment and job creation.
The statement added that his appointment would support the continued positioning of Cross River State as Nigeria’s foremost tourism destination.
The appointment is part of the administration’s efforts to advance the state’s tourism sector and maximise its economic potential.
