The Executive Chairman of Obanliku Local Government Area, Hon. Chief (Dr.) Sunny Ayang, JP, has paid a condolence visit to the immediate past Governor of Cross River State, Senator Prof. Ben Ayade, following the death of his elder brother, Mr. Placidus Ugah Ogar.
Hon. Ayang made the visit during the wake-keep held in honour of the deceased, where he joined family members, political leaders, traditional rulers, government officials, friends and well-wishers from across Cross River State to mourn with the Ayade family.
The Chairman expressed his heartfelt condolences to Senator Prof. Ben Ayade and the entire family, praying that Almighty God grant them the strength and fortitude to bear the painful loss.
The solemn gathering provided an opportunity for dignitaries and well-wishers to honour the memory of the deceased and demonstrate their solidarity with the bereaved family.
Hon. Sunny Ayang reaffirmed his support for the Ayade family during this difficult period and assured them of his continued prayers and solidarity.
He prayed that Almighty God grant the soul of Mr. Placidus Ugah Ogar eternal rest and give the entire Ayade family the fortitude to bear the loss.
