The All Progressives Congress (APC), Cross River State Chapter, has felicitated the Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Elvert Ayambem, JP, on the occasion of his birthday, while also congratulating him on his emergence as the party’s flag bearer for Ikom II State Constituency ahead of the forthcoming general election.

Christopher Sunny Eta, and members of the State Executive Committee, the party described Ayambem’s emergence as a clear reflection of the confidence and trust reposed in his leadership, loyalty, and outstanding record of public service.
The APC commended the Speaker for his dedication, integrity, and unwavering commitment to the progress of Cross River State, noting that his emergence as Speaker of the 10th Cross River State House of Assembly in 2023 and his leadership of the legislature have been marked by courage, wisdom, resilience, and a commitment to protecting the integrity of the Assembly.
According to the party, under Ayambem’s leadership, the Assembly has continued to advance people-oriented legislation, strengthen its oversight responsibilities, and support policies that promote the welfare and development of Cross River State.
The ruling party expressed confidence that Ayambem would continue to provide purposeful representation for the people of Ikom II State Constituency and contribute meaningfully to the growth of the APC and the state.
