Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy, has responded to an open letter from a social media user who appealed to him to empower 10,000 Nigerian youths with 10,000 laptops as part of a digital skills initiative.
The music executive, known for his philanthropy and lighthearted online presence, reacted to the request with humility, stating that while the idea was commendable, it exceeded his financial capacity.
“I love the vision, but I can only afford to support with ₦20 million,” Don Jazzy said, adding that collective efforts from well-meaning Nigerians and organizations could make the goal achievable.
His response has since sparked conversations across social media, with many users applauding his honesty and willingness to contribute despite the scale of the appeal. Others noted that his openness reflects the need for shared responsibility in youth empowerment and digital inclusion.
