The All Progressive Congresss Cross River Northern Senatorial Women Leader, Mrs. Janet A Inakefe, has congratulated Professor Offiong Effanga Offiong on his appointment as the new Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar.
Mrs. Inakefe described the appointment as well-deserved, noting that Professor Offiong E Offiong is a seasoned academic and disciplined administrator whose record of service continues to speak for him.
She recalled her personal experience working under Professor Offiong’s leadership when he served as Commissioner for Education in Cross River State, during which he appointed her as Education Secretary of Obanliku in recognition of her competence and dedication to duty. According to her, his commitment to excellence and merit-based leadership continues to inspire confidence across the state’s education sector.
