The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Cross River State, Hon. Emmanuel Ironbar, has received a prestigious National Leadership Award as Nigeria’s Best Chief of Staff. He received the award on Thursday in Maitama, Abuja.
Chief Perry Opara, the energetic Chairman of the Organising Committee, expressed the importance of the event, revealing that the National Leadership Awards Selection Committee had acknowledged Ironbar for his substantial contributions to the Otu administration and the overall progress of the state. “These honorees have not only shown exceptional leadership but have also proven their steadfast commitment to improving their ministries and, consequently, the welfare of Cross River State,” Opara declared.
According to Opera, the National Leadership Awards, now celebrating its 22nd anniversary, is recognised for honouring individuals who have achieved significant advancements across various sectors, fostering societal growth. Opara shared his sincere desire that this year’s awards would inspire a revitalized sense of dedication to public service. He encouraged the awardees to continue their noble endeavors to elevate their state and the nation.
Receiving the award, the Chief of Staff Ironbar expressed genuine gratitude for the acknowledgment, attributing the team’s achievements to the visionary leadership of Governor Otu. “With a governor who exemplifies exceptional versatility and competence at the helm, we are motivated to take proactive measures in our roles, ensuring that every aspect of Cross River flourishes,” Ironbar asserted confidently.
