Students of tertiary institutions across Nigeria from the five local government areas of Northern Cross River have been invited to apply for the second phase of the JARI Bursary Programme sponsored by Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe.
The programme is designed to provide financial support to students from Bekwarra, Obanliku, Obudu, Ogoja, and Yala who are pursuing higher education in various institutions within and outside Cross River State.
Beneficiaries are expected to come from institutions including the University of Calabar, University of Cross River State, Federal College of Education Obudu, University of Education and Entrepreneurship Akamkpa, Federal Polytechnic Ugep, Institute of Technology and Management Ugep, College of Health Technology Calabar, and Colleges of Nursing and Midwifery located in Calabar, Itigidi, Ogoja, and Obudu.
The JARI Bursary initiative has continued to serve as a major educational intervention aimed at easing the financial burden on students from the northern senatorial district while encouraging academic excellence.
