The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State has joined well-wishers across the country to celebrate the Deputy Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly and Member representing Obudu State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Sylvester Agabi Jnr, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary today.
In a congratulatory message signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Hon. Emmanuel Edem Inyang, JP, on behalf of the State Chairman, Alphonsus Ogar Eba, Esq., JP, and the entire State Executive Committee, the party described Rt. Hon. Agabi as a loyal party man and a shining example of servant leadership.
The statement highlighted his political journey, from his early days as Councilor and Leader of Legislative Council, through his tenure as Special Adviser on International Donor Development Corporation to former Governor Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade, to his present role as Deputy Speaker. According to the APC, each step of his career has been marked by dedication, integrity, and passion for the welfare of the people.
The party commended his contributions to the success of the APC in the last general elections, noting that his political wisdom, strategic insight, and loyalty were instrumental to the party’s victories at the polls.
“As Deputy Speaker, you continue to exemplify true statesmanship, prioritizing the people’s interests and upholding the dignity of the Legislature,” the statement read.
The APC prayed for God’s blessings, wisdom, and greater accomplishments for Rt. Hon. Agabi as he marks his new year.
