A progressive group under the aegis of Bekwara Frontiers has called on Chief Hon. (Dr) Martin Orim to contest for the House of Representatives seat for Obanliku/Bekwara/Obudu Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections.
The group made their position clear during a solidarity visit to Chief Martin Orim at his residence in Calabar, where they unanimously pledged their unwavering support and readiness to mobilize for his victory.
Led by Engr. Comrade Agbor Mathias Ogar and accompanied by prominent members including Engr. Joel Agbaragba, Timothy Ofere, and Rose Ogar and others. Bekwara Frontiers hailed Chief Orim’s track record, citing his developmental interventions, especially in youth empowerment and skills acquisition tailored to the needs of Bekwara communities.
“Chief Orim has left lasting footprints in the lives of our people. His dedication to human capital development is unmatched, and we believe his representation at the National Assembly will deliver even greater dividends,” said Comrade Agbor.
He added, “Our mission is to encourage him to heed the call of the people, and we are ready to give full and maximum support to ensure the general victory of our people of OBO come 2027.”
In his remarks, Chief Hon. Martin Orim expressed heartfelt appreciation for the group’s solidarity, describing it as a motivating force that strengthens his resolve to serve the people.
“This visit has inspired me greatly. I am fully prepared to answer the call to represent our people at the National Assembly, where I will continue to champion development, unity, and opportunity for the OBO constituency,” Orim said.
