One of the leading support groups of the Governor of Cross River State in the last election, “Prince is Coming Organization” Obanliku chapter, led by Chief Dr Sunny Ayang JP, has paid a courtesy call / congratulatory visit to the Chief Of Staff (COS) to the Governor, Hon. Emmanuel Ironbar, who happens to be one of ‘their own’, having served as the Director General (DG), before his current appointment.
The leader of the delegation Chief Dr. Sunny Ayang, in his remark, congratulated Hon. Ironbar on his emergence as the Chief of Staff to the Governor, stating that it was a well deserved appointment.
Dr. Sunny Ayang used the opportunity to remind Hon. Ironbar of how Obanliku Local Government was poorly treated in the last administration, beckoning on him, using his good office as the Chief of Staff to compensate the Local Government with juicy offices in the coming appointments.
Speaking also, on behalf of the ward coordinators was Hon. Stanley Ejuaga, who poured encomiums on Mr Ironbar, expressing hope that the Chief of Staff would be very outstanding in office, considering his wealth of experience, doggedness, loyalty and commitment to the Governor.
Ejuaga also used the opportunity to appeal to the Chief of Staff on the need to reposition Obanliku for the next local government elections, especially, the need to produce an experienced, acceptable and potent person as the Chairman of Council.
The Chief of Staff, Hon. Emmanuel Ironbar, in his response, assured the best for Obanliku, especially members of the Prince is Coming Organization, Obanliku Chapter.
The group also presented a congratulatory portrait to the Chief of Staff, Hon. Ironbar, at the Prince Otu campaign office, Calabar.
