The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Cross River State, Hon. Emmanuel Ironbar, has extended warm birthday wishes to the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Elvert Ayambem, describing him as a visionary leader whose bold legislative strides have positively shaped the state’s democratic landscape.
In a heartfelt message made available to newsmen in Calabar by his Media Assistant, Mr. Patrick Asuquo, Hon. Ironbar praised the Speaker’s dedication to people-centered legislation and governance, commending his courage, clarity of vision, and commitment to institutional reform.
“Your tenure as Speaker has brought renewed direction, transparency, and purpose to the Cross River State House of Assembly. You have redefined legislative leadership with grace, strength, and sincerity,” the statement read.
Hon. Ironbar highlighted the Speaker’s strategic leadership style and ability to steer the Assembly toward impactful lawmaking, noting that his influence has extended beyond the chambers to touch the lives of everyday Cross Riverians.
“Working closely with you has revealed the depth of your vision and your devotion to public good. Your calm but resolute approach to governance continues to inspire those of us privileged to serve alongside you,” he added.
While wishing the Speaker continued wisdom and success, the Chief of Staff expressed hope that the years ahead would bring even greater accomplishments and fulfillment.
