After nearly two years of absence, the iconic bull head monument at the base of Ranch Hill in the Obudu Cattle Ranch located in Obanliku LGA has been successfully reinstalled
The symbolic structure, which collapsed in 2022 due to structural failure and prolonged exposure to the elements, had long served as a visual landmark and a magnet for tourists and indigenes alike.
The restoration was spearheaded by the Special Assistant to the Governor on Ranch Affairs, Mr. Sunday Micheal, who described the project as part of a broader vision of the Governor to preserve and promote the Ranch’s cultural legacy.
Residents and visitors who gathered at the site expressed enthusiasm and relief, describing the reinstallation as a commendable achievement that has given the Ranch a fresh new look. Many noted that the area had felt incomplete without the towering monument.
They also praised Governor Bassey Otu for prioritizing the Ranch’s restoration and called for continued support for the Special Assistant to drive further development in the area.
