Ashakia Pius, his former colleague who represents Obanliku, was forced out of his office by breaking in and taking over from Hon. Thomas Aruku, the member representing Ogoja Constituency.
Rt. Hon. Ayambem stated that Mr. Ashakia was informed of the action and that Hon. Aruku was properly assigned to the office. Ayambem pointed out that the report was untrue, clarifying that if it had been accurate, Mr. Aruku would have been suspended following House rules.
