Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe continued his consultations within the All Progressives Congress in Obanliku, where he met with party stakeholders and presented a detailed record of projects delivered across the OBO axis.
The meeting, hosted by the Executive Chairman of Obanliku, Hon. Sunny Ayang, brought together party elders, ward executives, and grassroots leaders to review party affairs and discuss the political direction of the area.
In his remarks, Senator Jarigbe called for unity and sustained support for Governor Bassey Otu and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He stated that representation must be judged by clear results, noting that his work has focused on practical projects that directly affect communities.
To support that claim, the Senator outlined over 50 interventions across Obanliku. These include the construction of classroom blocks in Uhutu, Begiaba, Bukumaya, Bendi, and Bishiri communities, as well as road work on Busangfong Road.
He also highlighted widespread provision of solar-powered boreholes in areas such as Ugbakoko, Sankwala, Utanga, Becheve, Bishiri, and Bisu, alongside the installation of solar street lights in Bishiri, Bebi, Belegete, and Becheve.
Other projects listed include the installation of a 500KVA transformer in Ketting, supply of medical equipment to health centres in Sankwala and Bendi, and a three-day medical outreach with surgeries for constituents.
On empowerment, Senator Jarigbe cited the distribution of motorcycles to traditional rulers and catechists, tricycles to constituents, hand tillers to farmers, and support for youths through ICT training, aquaculture programmes, and NLNG-sponsored training. He also noted the enrollment of constituents into a health insurance scheme, bursary payments to students, and facilitation of foreign scholarships.
Stakeholders at the meeting commended the scale of projects which the said “Evidence Dey” and described the consultations as a sign of inclusive leadership. They reaffirmed their support for continued engagement and development across Obanliku and the wider Northern Senatorial District.
