In a heartwarming tribute to mark this year’s Children’s Day, the Chairman of the GFO Orim Foundation, Hon. Chief Dr. Martin Orim, has called for greater commitment to nurturing the dreams and well-being of children across Nigeria and beyond.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Dr. Orim described children as “the heart of our world, the joy in our days, and the hope for a brighter tomorrow,” emphasizing their role as vital pillars of the nation’s future.

“Today, we celebrate the dreams, laughter, and boundless potential of every child,” the statement read. “Let us strive to build a world where every child is seen, heard, valued, and deeply loved in a world where they are free to grow, explore, and shine in their unique brilliance.”

He encouraged society, parents, and policymakers to reaffirm their responsibility to protect and empower children, ensuring they are provided with safe spaces, quality education, and opportunities to thrive.

“To all the little superheroes out there: keep smiling, keep playing, and keep being your amazing selves. You are the sunshine that lights up our lives,” he added.
