The GFO Orim Foundation has officially released the names of beneficiaries who successfully completed its vocational and sustainable empowerment programs, reaffirming its commitment to reducing unemployment and fostering self-reliance across communities.
The initiative, covering areas like agriculture, tailoring, catering, digital skills, and crafts, aims to equip beneficiaries with sustainable Food-On-The -Table, reduce unemployment and promote self-reliance across communities.
“Before the training, I had no source of income,” said Kanung Clement Ogbo, a graduate of the hairstyling program. “Now, I barb hair in my community and earn enough to support my family. I am forever grateful to the GFO Orim Foundation.”
According to the GFO Orim Foundation, the empowerment scheme was carried out in partnership with reputable agencies and certified instructors to ensure quality delivery. The Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Nigeria’s official body for vocational training verification, has been listed as a reference point for confirming the authenticity of all training records.
“We are driven by impact and accountability,” said Mr Phydel Aben, spokesperson from the Foundation. “Our mission is to equip individuals with sustainable Food-On-The -Table, and tools to succeed not just today, but for the long term.”
