In a colorful and spirited gathering at the Obudu residence of Hon Chief (Dr) Martin Orim, Team Ma Adiaha, Obudu Chapter under the leadership of Mrs Monica Ugi, alongside the Cross River North Coordinator, Hon. Agnes Atsu, Commissioner for Sports, formally endorsed High Chief Orim for the Federal House of Representatives seat for Obanliku/Obudu/Bekwarra Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections. 
The team, composed predominantly of vibrant women leaders and grassroots mobilizers, expressed their support for High Chief Orim’s 2027 political ambition. Speaking on behalf of the group, Mrs Mrs Monica Ugi praised the philanthropist’s enduring commitment to the welfare of the people, his consistent support for community development initiatives, and his demonstrated leadership qualities.
In a bold show of solidarity, the group pledged both physical and financial support to High Chief Orim’s 2027 campaign. They went further to announce their collective decision to personally purchase the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for him, as a show to their belief in his capacity to deliver quality representation.
Responding to the overwhelming show of support, an elated High Chief Martin Orim expressed profound gratitude to the women for their confidence and trust. He described the visit as a strong moral boost and assured the team of his readiness to carry them along throughout his political journey.
