In a grand gesture of solidarity and support, the Northern Cross River Coalition (NORTHCCO) is proud to announce a generous donation of one million naira (₦1,000,000) in support of Awade Jacob Awade, an Obanliku son of Northern Cross River, as he embarks on his historic quest to break the Guinness World Record for the longest marathon theater performance by an individual. Awade is attempting to surpass the record set in 1987 by Briton Adrian Hilton, who performed Shakespeare’s complete works for an astonishing 110 hours and 46 minutes. This donation underscores NORTHCCO’s commitment to fostering extraordinary talent and celebrating resilience in the arts, ensuring Awade has the necessary resources to achieve this remarkable feat.
