The Chief Executive Officer of Sentrytimes, a Cross River State based media organisation, Denis Inakefe popularly known as Media Chief Priest, was honoured by the National Association of Obanliku Students, the University of Calabar Chapter (NAOS-UCC) with a Meritorious Award, on Friday at Etaval Event Centre, Calabar.

According to the lead organiser, Come Samuel Ayu, who is the current NAOS – WW President, the award was given in recognition of Denis Inakefe’s outstanding support and valid contributions to the growth of the association and NAOSITES.

Receiving the award, the Sentrytimes CEO lauded the initiative of the Comrade Ayu-led NAOS for putting up such an event, stating that it was the first of its kind witnessed in recent times. He thanked NAOS-UCC for the honour bestowed on him while assuring future support for the growth and development of the body. He went on to support the organisers with a donation of Fifty Thousand Naira (50,000).

In company of the CEO was the Special Assistant to Obanliku Chairman on Gender and Girl Child Initiative, Immaculata USHUS, Special Assistant to the Obanliku Chairman on Student Affairs, Comr Julius Ugbang, former NAOS President Comr Justine Edede, Come Bright Ikang among others.
