The Executive Chairman of Obanliku, Honourable Chief Sunny Ayang JP, has extended his heartfelt congratulations and support to the newly recruited Nigerian Police Constables hailing from Obanliku. In a visit filled with pride and encouragement, Hon Ayang emphasised the importance of duty and adherence to the law as the constables embark on their new roles within the police force.
Hon Sunny Ayang visited on Thursday, following the successful passing out parade of the police recruits which was held at the Odukpani Training College in Cross River State.
During the visit, Hon Ayang expressed his deep appreciation for the dedication and hard work that the young policemen and women demonstrated throughout their training.
Hon Ayang urged them to uphold the values of professionalism and integrity as they serve their communities. “As newly sworn police officers, your actions will reflect not only on your integrity but also on the reputation of the police force and the trust of the citizens you are sworn to protect,” Hon Ayang stated.
The Chairman encouraged them to embrace their roles with a sense of duty, compassion, and the determination to foster peace and security within Obanliku and beyond. He also supported the policemen and women in the celebration with a cash gift.
According to one of the newly recruited constables, Moses Ejikang, who was facilitated by the Chairman, the visit by the chairman highlighted Hon Ayang’s commitment to supporting Obanliku youths and local law enforcement and ensuring a safer environment for all residents.
