In a ceremony that was marked by a euphoric atmosphere, the Executive Chairman of Obanliku Local Government Council, Hon. (Dr.) Sunny Ayang inaugurated all his appointees today, including the Secretary, Supervisors, Special Advisers, and other appointees, heralding a new chapter in the administration’s quest for sustainable development and improved service delivery.
Hon. Sunny Ayang, in a brief speech at the ceremony, urged the appointees to thank God for being carefully chosen among other Obanliku citizens. He congratulated the new appointees, emphasizing their critical role in carrying out the administration’s vision for a more prosperous and greater Obanliku local government area.
The chairman charged the appointees to be diligent, dedicated, proactive, innovative, and inclusive in their approach to governance, stressing the need for effective collaboration and teamwork.
Speaking on behalf of the appointees, the Secretary of Council, Dr. Joseph Agba, thanked the Chairman for considering them deserving of being appointed to his administration and assured him of their undying support, dedication, and commitment to its success.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by a diverse gathering of stakeholders, including political dignitaries across wards, council staff, community leaders, and well-wishers.
