The Chief of Staff of the Governor of Cross River State, Hon. Emmanuel Ironbar, has extended his condolences during a visit to the family of the late Rt. Hon Maurice Orok Edem Duke JP popularly known as (Baba) Eto Akpa Ayak Odung at their residence in Calabar South.
Hon. Emmanuel Ironbar, who had just returned from an official trip to Abuja, was accompanied by the Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Elvert Ayambem, Rt Hon Essien Ayi, Rt Hon. Joseph Bassey, and Ekpenyoung Akiba.
They were warmly received at the late Rt. Hon Maurice Orok Edem Duke JP’s compound by Chief Joseph Orok Ede, the deceased’s brother, and his wife.
Rt. Hon. Maurice Orok Edem Duke, who was a three-term House of Assembly Member representing Constituency 2 of Calabar South, passed on at the age of 63 after a brief illness.
