Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong of the Cross River South Senatorial District has disbursed ₦100,000,000 cash transfer grants to 1,500 constituents, fulfilling his mandate to the people he serves across 7 Local Governments. The exercise coincided with the second phase of Senator Ekpenyong’s distribution of food palliatives and relief materials to 1,000 Calabar constituents.

Beneficiaries of both programs expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Senator. “We are so grateful for this support,” said Mrs Antigha Effiom, a constituent from Calabar South LGA. “The cash grant has come at the right time, and it will help me boost my business.” Another constituent, Mr. Calistus Ekpe, from Akamkpa LGA, added, “We appreciate the efforts of our Senator in providing for our needs. This gesture has brought hope to our communities.”

The Senator reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the constituents of Cross River South Senatorial District, promising to continue the initiative until everyone in the district is reached, either directly or indirectly. This gesture has brought relief and hope to many families, and the constituents look forward to more support in the future.
