The Cross River State Commissioner for Sports, Hon. Agnes Atsu, has received high marks from the former Governor’s Chief of Staff, Chief Hon. Martin Orim, who described her as a dedicated and selfless person.
Chief Martin Orim disclosed this at Hon. Agnes Atsu’s Thanksgiving Service at Dunamis Church in the Obudu Local Government Area of Cross River State.
According to Chief Martin Orim, Hon. Agnes Atsu is a steadfast person who follows everything through to its logical conclusion. He also mentioned that Hon. Agnes Atsu’s steadfast support and commitment were crucial to Governor Bassey Otu and Hon. Sylvester Agabi’s 2023 election victory as the House of Assembly Member in Obudu.
Hon. Orim mentioned that during the gubernatorial election, he found strength in the Commissioner of Sports, characterising her as a formidable political force and an excellent woman organiser. He recounted how Agnes went Ill during the election, and regained to normal health through God’s intervention.
Orim thanked the Cross River State Deputy Governor who represented Governor Bassey Otu at the thanksgiving service for his constant support and applauded his distinctive leadership in the Northern Senatorial District
