Renewed Hope For a Better Country Takes Off On Wings of Change

It is with profound gratitude that I join millions of Nigerians all over the world to congratulate His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his successful swearing-in as President and Commander-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Your Excellency, the significance of this historic and momentous occasion and the enormous challenges of your assumption of office is not lost on citizens and friends of Nigeria.

As a new dawn births in our dear country,I have the supreme confidence that you have the experience and capacity to steer our country on the path to peace, unity, national cohesion and democratic consolidation.

You have mounted the saddle at a critical period.Our country is facing profound challenges: festering insecurity, economic challenges that have impacted job opportunities and wealth creation, heightened ethnic saliency which continues to test our unity amidst separatist agitation questioning the territorial integrity of our great country.

Indications from your maiden address promising to deal decisively with the issue of insecurity, reset of fiscal and monetary policies to reflate the economy, a bold plan to improve the infrastructure deficit in the country and deliver the much needed agricultural revolution among other promising plans for national rebirth evince renewed hope of a new chapter of accerelated socio-economic development of the country.

The task ahead of you is indeed enormous but I have no doubt that given your vast experience in public service and with the full support of citizens, that you will deliver a new Nigeria that we will all be proud of, a country in which hard work is rewarded, our creative ingenuity flourish and the dying embers of disillusionment banished forever.

Let me use this opportunity to call on fellow citizens to fully support the plans and programmes of His Excellency,President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to recreate a country that works for all of us.

We should therefore set aside our differences and come together to create a country where no one is left behind. Nigeria will be truly great if we all come together to harness its full potentials.
